NEW ORLEANS — A man was found not guilty by reason of insanity Wednesday in the 2022 killing of an Uber driver in Jefferson Parish, according to NOLA.com.
Brandon Jacobs, 33, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 54-year-old Yolanda Dillion.
Prosecutors said he requested a ride through Uber, bought knives from a New Orleans store and attacked Dillion after she dropped him off at a Harvey hotel.
