A man who was shot in the Lower 9th Ward in August died over the weekend from complications related to his gunshot wounds, according to the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office.
61-year-old Randy Joseph died on Saturday. Following his death, the shooting is being investigated as a homicide, a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson said.
