BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A woman who was arrested by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation accused of defrauding an insurance company out of thousands of dollars is an employee for the State Senate.
Spokeswoman Julie Baxter declined to comment on her status – only saying, “this is an internal personnel matter.”
