The ownership group behind Tsunami Sushi restaurants — Chad Hughes, Connie Hargrave and Sarwat Gad — filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this week while facing a series of legal disputes involving the business and its partners.
The filing covers four operating companies under the Tsunami brand, which run restaurants in Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The companies reported between $2.5 million and $3.5 million in debts across the four locations, according to their attorney.
