National Guardsman accidentally shoots fellow soldier in New Orleans, source says

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A National Guard soldier accidentally shot a military comrade Tuesday night (March 10) at the Jackson Barracks base near Arabi, according to a Fox 8 source familiar with the investigation.

The New Orleans Police Department dispatched several units to the scene around 6:56 p.m. An NOPD spokesperson would only confirm that a man sustained a gunshot wound at the scene, 6400 St. Claude Ave.
