NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A woman was carjacked late Friday night (March 13) near the Fair Grounds area by two men wielding a gun and a hammer, New Orleans police said.
According to the NOPD, the woman was sitting in her car parked in the 2700 block of D’Abadie Street when two men wearing face masks and all-black clothing approached at 11:20 p.m.
One of the suspects smashed the passenger side window with a hammer and entered the car, “before placing it against her head.” The second suspect approached on the driver’s side, put a gun to the woman’s face and ordered her out of the vehicle…
