U.S. Marshals arrest suspect in drunk driving crash that killed Xavier University grad

The U.S. Marshals Service announced the arrest of a man who was wanted for vehicular homicide in a fiery drunk driving crash that killed Xavier University graduate Patricia Saidu six months ago.

Manmeet Singh, 30, was apprehended Friday in Madison, Miss., according to Louisiana State Police. Agents took him into custody with help from Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans and the FBI.

“Today, we received a call from the officers confirming that Patricia’s killer has been caught,” Saidu’s mother, Martha Saidu, 50, said in a statement released Friday evening. “Our hearts are filled with gratitude because only God could orchestrate such a moment.”…
