A bicyclist was killed early Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run crash in Jefferson Parish, and authorities are now asking the public for help identifying the driver who initially struck the victim.
Bicyclist Killed in Bridge City Hit-and-Run Crash
A 46-year-old bicyclist, Douglas Prichett, died after being struck by vehicles in Bridge City early Wednesday morning.
According to the Louisiana State Police, the crash happened just before 5 a.m. on Seven Oaks Boulevard near Utah Beach Drive.
Investigators say the incident involved two separate vehicles.
