Slidell, Louisiana – Strong northwest winds will sweep across southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast early Monday, followed by a sharp overnight temperature drop that could bring a rare freeze to the region.
According to the National Weather Service in New Orleans, a Wind Advisory remains in effect from 4 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday for coastal and nearby inland communities including Slidell, Mandeville, Ponchatoula, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Pascagoula.
