A man was arrested Tuesday morning in connection with the November shooting of a teenager in Hollygrove, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Michael McBride, 18, was booked into the Orleans Parish prison on a count of second-degree murder in connection to the shooting of 17-year-old Eric C. Simmons, III, in the 8600 block of Palmetto Street on Nov. 12, 2025, police said. He was booked at around 9:10 a.m., according to jail records.
