Two men were injured in separate Wednesday night shootings in the Gert Town and Dillard neighborhoods, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
Both shootings are under investigation and police did not provide further information on the cause or the conditions of the victims.
Just after 11 p.m., police responded to a report of shots being fired in the 2100 block of St. Denis Street near Dillard University. They did not find a victim in the area, but a man who police said was the shooting victim later arrived at a hospital…
