Eric Overmyer, co-creator of HBO’s ‘Treme,’ dies at 74, report says

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Television writer-producer Eric Overmyer, a co-creator of HBO’s post-Katrina New Orleans drama “Treme,” has died at age 74 after an illness, according to an entertainment industry news site.

Overmyer died Monday (March 16), according to a report in Deadline.com. The report did not cite a specific cause of death.
