NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A suspect is dead and two people are injured following a shooting in the Central Business District on Thursday, March 26.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting occurred in the 1400 block of Tulane Avenue around 2:44 p.m. The suspect allegedly began attacking a man walking down the street, pushing him into some bushes. Following a struggle the suspect allegedly shot the man.
“It’s wild, man. I walk here every day, you know, every work day,” passerby Chris Morel said.
