ARABI, La. (WGNO) — One suspect is in custody, and an arrest warrant has been issued for another in connection with an alleged theft of a valuable painting in Arabi, according to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office.
According to SBSO deputies, 27-year-old Michael Ostrager, of New Orleans, is in custody in Orleans Parish and will be booked into the St. Bernard Parish Prison on charges of simple burglary and illegal possession of stolen things valued between $5,000 and $25,000.
Additionally, SBSO issued an arrest warrant for 35-year-old Harley Brown, of New Orleans, on the same charges. Deputies said Brown is also known by Harley Phillips.
