A New Orleans Family Justice Center employee was arrested in connection with the hit-and-run death of a woman who was killed near Danziger Bridge on Thursday morning, according to officials.
Shermaine Scipio, 43, was booked on counts of felony hit and run for failing to render aid and obstruction of justice, Capt. Buddy Micheu, of NOPD’s Traffic Division, said in a Friday morning press conference.
