Roughly 2,800 people in the French Quarter were in the dark for about an hour after a Mylar streamer knocked out power Tuesday afternoon, according to Entergy.
French Quarter residents reported the outage at around 4 p.m. Power was restored at 5:12 p.m., according to Entergy.
“Entergy New Orleans is aware of an outage currently impacting approximately 2,800 customers in the French Quarter,” the utility said in a statement. “Entergy crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service.”…
