A man has been convicted of second-degree murder in the 2022 killing of a woman in New Orleans East, Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams announced during a news conference on Monday.
A jury found Nicholas “Ducktape” Stackpoole guilty over the death of 24-year-old Toiannie Odom, who was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds near her vehicle on Chef Menteur Highway in August 2022.
