NEW ORLEANS — Drivers heading into the French Quarter for Cinco de Mayo should plan ahead, as temporary parking restrictions and street controls will be in place on Tuesday, May 5.
The New Orleans Police Department says no-parking zones will be enforced from 6 a.m. to midnight on May 5 in several areas, including the 200 and 300 blocks of Decatur Street and the 400 block of Bienville Street between North Peters and Decatur streets.
Vehicles parked in those areas could be towed, so officials are urging drivers to watch for posted signs…
