NOPD seeks information on 1981 homicide at French Quarter riverfront

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The NOPD and Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans will hold a media event on Tuesday in hopes of gaining more information that can assist in the investigation of a 1981 homicide incident.

The event will take place at 1 p.m. at the Moonwalk riverfront park, along the Mississippi River near the intersection of Decatur and Saint Peter streets.

On Jan. 25, 1981, a homicide occurred at the listed location. The victim in this incident, identified as Donald Cedric Faul, was stabbed multiple times and was declared on scene to be deceased…
