A Mandeville woman working as a bookkeeper at a Metairie construction company has been charged with stealing several thousand dollars from her employer by writing fraudulent checks, according to authorities.
Michelle Miller, 52, appeared in Jefferson Parish Magistrate Court Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to theft valued over $25,000, money laundering and forgery.
