NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – New Orleans police are searching for a 9-year-old girl who has been missing since early May after her mother took her in violation of a court order.
Jonve Nortey was taken by her mother, 41-year-old Ambrais Nedd, at approximately 5:11 p.m. on May 4, according to the New Orleans Police Department. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Nedd on one count of simple kidnapping.
On Wednesday (May 13), police located and arrested Nedd with help from the U.S. Marshal Service and Homeland Security Investigations. Nedd refused to tell police where her daughter is, police said…
