Cocaine allegedly found in mail leads to arrest of New Orleans man

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A joint investigation into drug activity across state lines has landed a New Orleans man in custody.

According to the Louisiana State Police, in April, investigators intercepted a package being shipped to New Orleans from Houston, allegedly containing a kilogram of concealed in a board game box.

With the combined efforts of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Drug Enforcement Administration and Department of Homeland Security, additional packages were found, all marked for delivery to 43-year-old Devin Harry.

Troopers said the packages reportedly comes from Harry’s travels to the United States – Mexico borders and Houston.

In an undercover operation carried out on April 14, Harry accepted the package possibly containing cocaine. A traffic stop by LSP Troop NOLA agents allegedly led agents to find the package, 66 grams of cocaine on Harry and added substance packaged for distribution…
