NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding Mikia Veaux in connection with a homicide investigation.
Officers responded to the 8500 block of Chef Menteur Highway at approximately 3:51 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2025. A man was fatally shot by someone he knew while inside a vehicle, police said.
