NEW ORLEANS — A longtime Mid-City neighborhood bar is expected to close later this month after efforts by its owners to purchase the building failed, according to reporting from The Times-Picayune.
Parkview Tavern, located along the City Park streetcar line on North Carrollton Avenue, is expected to close when its lease expires on May 29. Owners Kathy Anderson and Mark Malhiot told Nola.com they do not plan to relocate unless a buyer steps forward to move the business or negotiate a new lease with the current property owners.
