N.Y. Lottery: Albany man is New York’s first ‘Millionaire for Life’ lottery winner; here’s how much he took home

An Albany man claimed a $1,000,000 A Year For Life top prize for matching all six numbers drawn on May 21 in the New York Lottery’s newest multi-state draw game, Millionaire for Life, lottery officials announced.

Edward Stack walked away with the $18,000,000 payout and received $11,718,001, after required withholdings. He plans to invest his winnings.
