Alternate Side Parking suspended for Yom Kippur

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — If you parked on a street that normally undergoes street cleaning on Monday, don’t stress out about having to move your car.

Alternate Side Parking rules will be suspended in observance of Yom Kippur.

Drivers are reminded that parking within 15 feet of either side of a fire hydrant is illegal and that painted curbs at hydrant locations do not indicate where they can park.
