TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is being charged after police say he fought several security officers while intoxicated at Camelback Lodge.
According to the Pocono Township Police Department, on Tuesday around 4:00 p.m., officers were called to Camelback Lodge for a disorderly man.
Once officers arrived they said the man, later identified as Jonathan Vidal, 33, of New York, was fighting with security officers in his room.
Police say Vidal was being disruptive and aggressive in the hotel bar and was asked to leave the resort. Vidal then spit in the face of a security officer and he was escorted to his room where he continued to argue and fight with security, investigators stated.

While in the room, Vidal spit in another security officer’s face and then threw a marijuana cigar at another security officer, officers said. A woman tried to calm Vidal down, but he then assaulted her, police noted.
Investigators say Vidal was found to be extremely intoxicated and unruly in public. He was placed in the Monroe County Correctional Facility on the following charges;
