NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of two suspects sought for shooting a Good Samaritan attempting to break up a fight on a Bronx street earlier this month.
It happened at approximately 3:48 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, authorites said.
A 42-year-old man was standing at the corner of Clay Avenue and East 167th Street in Morrisania when the two suspects were having a dispute with another person, cops said.
According to officials, the victim attempted to intervene and one of the suspects shot the victim once in the lower left leg with a firearm.
The suspects then fled on foot westbound on East 168th Street to parts unknown.
EMS transported the victim by to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
