Shakur Stevenson has not been quiet about pushing for the fights he believes will make him a superstar. Within the last two years, he’s publicly called for fights with William Zepeda, Devin Haney, Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Vasyl Lomachenko. However, none of those public call outs have materialized into actual fights. Zepeda is set to fight Giovanni Cabrera on July 6, Devin Haney has moved up to super lightweight and Davis seems to be on a collision course with Lomachenko. Still, the New Jersey product is hopeful that he will have an opportunity to headline a major, pay-per-view event in the near future.
