In a disheartening display of exploitation, a New York man has been charged with defrauding a cancer-stricken 77-year-old Vietnam veteran from Everett out of $20,000 and attempting to steal an additional $32,000. The suspect, Hongfei Huang, faces several charges, including larceny over $1,200 by false pretense and larceny over $250 from a person over 60 or disabled, according to a statement released by Police Chief Paul Strong on the Everett Police Facebook page.
