UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) — A 5-month-old baby girl was found dead on the Upper West Side Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.
Police received a 911 call from a residence on West 72nd Street, near Columbus Avenue, just before 3 a.m. When officers arrived, the baby was unconscious and unresponsive, authorities said.
The girl was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Additional details were not made immediately available. No criminality is suspected at this time, according to the NYPD.
