Selena Gomez has received an honor few Americans do for her work in Emilia Pérez: a medal recognizing her significant contribution to the arts in France. On October 3, the actor and her co-stars were awarded the coveted Chevalier dans l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres at Villa Albertine in New York City. Mohamed Bouabdallah, the cultural counselor of France in the U.S., bestowed the cast with the medals.
