Woman, 27, killed in Bronx car collision as other driver busted for vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated: NYPD

A young woman died in the Bronx after a driver — later charged with driving while intoxicated — smashed into the car she was riding in, and a pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver in Brooklyn hours apart early Saturday, cops said.

In the first incident, a 43-year-old man driving a 2011 Lincoln MKX was heading north on Castle Hill Ave. when he struck a 2017 Infiniti QX60 going west on Randall Ave. in Castle Hill about 12:50 a.m., cops said.

The impact sent the Infiniti, driven by a 27-year-old man, careening in a northwest direction before it struck a parked, unoccupied 2018 Honda Pilot.

The Lincoln also continued northwest before smacking into two parked, unoccupied cars.

Medics rushed the 27-year-old Infiniti driver and his female passenger, Dorilys Ramos, also 27, to Jacobi Medical Center . Ramos, who lived nearby in Clason Point, the Bronx, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Infiniti driver was in stable condition.

Medics also rushed the Lincoln driver, Dimas Cuadrado, and his 37-year-old female passenger to the same hospital, where they were in stable condition. A 41-year-old man also riding in the Lincoln was uninjured in the crash.
