Bronx Gang Member Faces Life Sentence or Death Penalty for Alleged Drive-By Shooting in New York

Edward Y. Kim, the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, along with Homeland Security Investigations and the NYPD, announced the indictment of Paul Johnson, also known as “PJ Glizzy,” for his alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Jayquan McKenley. Johnson, identified as a member of the Bronx-based “Original Goonz” gang, faces charges including racketeering conspiracy and murder in aid of racketeering, as detailed in a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
