Crew slashes man in attempted robbery on Queens street

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a group of four accused of slashing a man in an attempted robbery on a Queens street last week.

At approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, a 22-year-old man was approached in front of 179-33 Hillside Ave. in Jamaica, by the crew who attempted to forcefully steal his property, authorities said.

The group then slashed the victim on the left arm with an unknown sharp object.

After being unsuccessful in their attempts, the suspects fled location on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was removed to NYC Health + Hospital/Queens in stable condition.
