Old Farmer’s Almanac Calling For Warm/Dry April In New York

If you are over the snow, wind, and cold, there is some good news for you.

Looking ahead to next month, the early weather predictions from the Old Farmer’s Almanac are calling for a warmer and drier than normal month of April.

Long-Range Forecast For Western New York

Temperatures are looking to be around 2 degrees warmer than normal for the month. April will start off with a chill, but then things will warm up in the second week of the month, with very warm weather expected toward the end of the month.

Long-Range Forecast For Central New York

It won’t be as warm as out west, with the average high temperature around 1 degree warmer than normal. Once again, the start of April will be cool, but warmer temperatures with some showers are expected in weeks 2 and 3. Then, warm and sunny skies are expected to wrap up the month.

Long-Range Forecast For Northern/Eastern New York

It looks like it will be the warmest part of the state. The daily temperature is predicted to be around 3 degrees warmer than normal. April will start off on the warm side with some scattered showers before the cooldown takes place in weeks 2 and 3. Things will warm back up as we wrap up the month of April.
