Police said Thursday they were looking for a man who allegedly robbed several women at gunpoint in the Bronx, stealing purses, jewelry and cash.
NYPD officials said the man approached women on the street at night or in the early morning, flashed a black gun and demanded their personal belongings in at least six incidents. All of them took place in Eastchester and Williamsbridge between March 24 and April 3, police said.
One of the women was robbed around 3:40 a.m. on the southbound staircase of the Baychester Avenue subway station on the 5 line, the NYPD said. Several of the other robberies happened nearby…
