Man, 34, is fatally gunned down in Harlem building lobby in brazen shooting

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man was fatally gunned down in the lobby of a Harlem public housing building early Thursday evening, police said.

The victim, identified as Christopher Jimenez, was shot at 5 p.m. inside 545 West 126 St., which is part of NYCHA’s Manhattanville Houses.

Jimenez suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Morningside.

A friend of the Jimenez, Demetria Ramuesr, told the Daily News that he was a father of three. She said she found him shot on the floor and that he told her, “I’m dying,” as she held his hand…
