Attempted suicide at Bronx subway station sparks massive 4, 5, 6, 2 train delays

An attempted suicide at a Bronx subway station led to massive delays Saturday on the 4,5,6 and 2 trains, officials said.

The 35-year-old man who sparked the slowdown jumped in front of a Manhattan-bound No. 6 train entering the Third Ave.-138th St. station at about 9 p.m., cops said.

An MTA motorman saw the commuter jump onto the tracks as the train entered the station, cops said. The man was struck by the oncoming train but only suffered a deep gash to his head, police said…
