Cops fatally shot a 25-year-old man who charged at them with a knife in a Brooklyn apartment Tuesday afternoon while responding to a domestic dispute, according to police.
Two officers responded to 108 Christopher Avenue in Brownsville just before 3 p.m. after a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend — who was known to carry machetes and hammers — had threatened her in a rage over another man babysitting their kids, the NYPD said at a press conference Tuesday night.
The woman, who was home with her children, feared her former partner was on his way to kill her, police said.
