2 accused of beating Bronx man, 60, to death: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A homeless man and his accomplice are accused of beating a 60-year-old man to death on a Bronx street last month, police said Friday.

Nixon Gordon, 25, and Junior Mills, 40, of the Bronx, were arrested this week and charged with manslaughter and assault, according to the NYPD.

A passerby found Kevin Bell, 60, badly beaten near Elliot Place and Walton Avenue in Mt. Eden at around 12:05 a.m. on May 18, according to sources and police.

Bell was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide a few days later, police said…
