UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) — The NYPD is investigating a scheme targeting some of New York City’s most vulnerable.
Police say two men and a woman are preying on senior citizens, tricking them out of their bank cards and draining their accounts.

One 81-year-old woman described the day she became a victim inside the Chase Bank as she was trying to take cash out of an ATM. “I was in a brace, a walker, so I was definitely a mark for him.”
That’s when she says a man approached her. “He said, ‘Oh, you dropped 20 dollars.’ I said thank you. I couldn’t bend over to get it, but while I was turning, he snatched the card.”…
