NYC to spray mosquito pesticide on Staten Island and the Bronx to curb West Nile virus

Starting Monday, New York City’s Health Department will spray mosquito pesticides in parts of the Bronx and Staten Island to reduce the risk of West Nile virus.

Trucks will spray pesticides in sections of the Bronx from 8:30 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
