MTA is hiring: Jobs that don’t require a college degree

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The MTA is looking to fill multiple full-time positions that do not require a college degree.

The Metro-North Railroad is hiring tinsmiths to work with ductwork and fittings in railroad facilities.

The starting salary is $28.10 an hour, but increases annually. The full rate of pay is $40.14 an hour in the sixth year.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, a valid Class D driver’s license, and have a personal toolbox with Sheet Metal tools…
