Man arrested in apparently random Central Park attacks; victims beaten, choked and bitten

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A suspect was arrested after two men were assaulted—beaten, choked and bitten—in Central Park early Monday morning in apparently random attacks.

The first victim, an 18-year-old man, was punched, kicked and choked shortly before 1:30 a.m. at West Drive and West 62nd Street, according to police.

The second victim, a 37-year-old man, was then assaulted at West Drive and West 93rd Street. He was knocked to the ground and bitten in the ear, police said…
