The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will spray pesticides in parts of Brooklyn on Tuesday to curb mosquito activity and reduce the risk of West Nile virus.
Spraying is scheduled to begin on Sept. 16, between 8:30pm and 6:00am, the following morning, weather permitting. If conditions are poor, the work will be delayed until Wednesday, Sept. 17, during the same hours.
Brooklyn neighborhoods scheduled for spraying include: Bedford-Stuyvesant, Broadway Junction, Broadway Triangle, Brownsville, Bushwick, Crown Heights, Cypress Hills, East New York, East Williamsburg, Greenpoint, New Lots, South Williamsburg and Williamsburg…
