New York, US: Police are searching for a group of suspects linked to a brutal assault and robbery that took place outside a Manhattan bar, leaving one man seriously injured late Sunday night.
Violent Encounter After Night Out
Authorities say the victim, a 32-year-old man, was attacked by several individuals around 2:30 a.m. after leaving a popular bar in the East Village. Witnesses reported seeing a group of four to six people surround him before punches and kicks escalated the confrontation. One assailant allegedly knocked the man to the ground while others rifled through his pockets, taking his phone, wallet, and cash before fleeing the scene.
According to investigators, the victim sustained head injuries and multiple bruises. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
