Person Hit by PATH Train at Journal Square Was Homeless

Authorities have shed more light on the individual hit by a PATH train at Journal Square on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey identified the victim as a 64-year-old homeless man. The spokesperson directed further questions to the Hudson County Medical Examiner, confirming earlier reports that the victim had died in the incident, which took place at approximately 10:35 a.m.
