It was widely reported that Gov. Ned Lamont told Bloomberg News this week he was worried Zohran Mamdani could cause ill effects on the tri-state area if the Democratic Socialist wins the race for New York mayor and enacts some of his ideas.
Damage to the city’s finance industry could spill over to Connecticut, Lamont suggested to the New York-based financial news network during the Greenwich Economic Forum, a gathering of hedge fund executives, wealth managers and others in the money business.
