NYPD Searching for Woman Who Attacked 64-Year-Old Skateboarder on East 14th Street

New York, NY – Police are searching for a woman who struck a 64-year-old skateboarder in the back of the head during a violent confrontation on East 14th Street Tuesday evening.

The incident unfolded around 6:45 p.m. in front of 500 East 14th Street, where the victim was skating when a verbal dispute broke out with an unidentified woman.

Investigators say the suspect pulled out an unknown object and hit the man, leaving him with a severe head laceration.

She then ran west on East 14th Street and disappeared into the crowd before officers arrived.

Victim hospitalized, suspect at large

EMS workers transported the injured man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was reported in stable condition. The motive for the attack remains under investigation, and detectives from the 9th Precinct are reviewing surveillance footage in the area…
